Port specific weather now available

We have added weather to all the ports worldwide. Find the port nearest you and click on weather button. The weather shows a five day forecast, and the hourly forecast for wind and precipitation.

New Interactive Map

www.PortsByBoat.com has added an interactive mapping tool called "Service Map" on the menu bar. This map enables you to select marinas, and turn off restaurants, for any service category can be selected or de-selected. Then only those categories selected show up on the map, making it easy to find ports with the categories you need to see.

Captains could use this to identify all the restaurants for a series of ports around an island, giving their hosts many dinner locations to visit while touring.

Repair shops and service marinas can be quickly located when needed using this mappint tool.

Now you can add photos

You can now upload photos to most anything on www.PortsByoat.com, such as forum posts, ports, and trip routes. Give it a try.

We have added RSS feeds to the website. We will add new highlights and you won't miss important news.

Pre-Charter sailboat Checklist

We added a PDF to the website to help you charter your boat, or when you charter a sailboat. It can be found on the resource tab and on the Travel Planner tab. One page, and very comprehensive. It is grouped in order so that as you walk onto the boat, and through it, you sequentially mark things off that have been reviewed.

Lets us know your thoughts, suggestions welcome.

New Interactive Map

Our programmers have built a new interactive google map of all marinas and points of interest for the entire globe. Check it out in the new yellow tab "Service Map". If you can think of a better name, send us an email suggestion.
